Terms of Service

By installing the LingoFlick Chrome extension or using lingoflick.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the service.

1. The service

LingoFlick is a vocabulary learning tool with a free tier and paid "Pro" and "Lifetime" tiers. The free tier limits saved words to 100 and AI messages to 20 per month. Pro and Lifetime remove these limits and unlock additional features described on the pricing page.

2. Account & eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use LingoFlick
• You are responsible for keeping your browser and account secure
• One account per person; account sharing is not permitted

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled
• You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; you keep access until the end of the current billing period
• Lifetime plans are non-refundable after 14 days from purchase
• Prices may change; existing subscribers are grandfathered at their original price for at least 12 months
• EU/UK customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under consumer protection law (this does not apply once you have started actively using paid features)

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on the first purchase of any monthly or yearly subscription. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. Email [email protected] to request one.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to violate any law or third-party rights
• Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the service
• Bypass rate limits, plan limits, or authentication mechanisms
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the system
• Scrape or bulk-extract data belonging to other users

6. Your content

You own the words you save. By saving a word, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and sync it across your devices for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your vocabulary library.

7. Third-party content

Translations and definitions are generated by AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic) and may be inaccurate. We are not responsible for errors in machine-generated content. Always verify critical translations with a qualified human source.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. On termination, you can export your data within 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of Warsaw, Poland. Nothing in this section limits the consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
